Gongfu tea tray, also known as the Chachuan (tea ship), it is an essential item for Kung Fu tea and Kung Fu tea ceremony.
This ceramic tea tray was handmade with high quality natural clay (called old rock clay) at Dehua county in China and finished with gilt rust glaze. Due to the high iron oxide content in the glaze, after firing at the high temperature (1310 Celsius), the surface of the tea tray has rust color & look. While for the tea tray design, it is a just like a lotus flower sitting on a leaf, very zen style tea tray.
This tea tray provides an elegant platform to display your tea wares and accessories, you can place your gongfu teapot on the flower and the tea cups/ tea pets on the leaf. There are small holes on both sides and it can hold up the splitting water up to 500ml (16.9oz). It is a great add on to your Kung Fu tea ceremony at home, it is also an ideal gift for tea lover.
