This handmade Gong Fu teapot was made with high quality natural clay (old clay) in Dehua county, and finished with gilt rust glaze. Due to the high iron oxide content in the glaze, after firing at the high temperature (1310 Celsius), the surface of the teapot presents rust color & look. It is a very beautiful teapot for Kung Fu tea, it was designed based on the lotus leaf shape, I am sure that it will bring you extra joy for your Gong fu tea brewing at home. This ceramic teapot is food safe, free of lead and cadmium.

Ceramic Teapot Care: Before the first time use, wash the teapot in warm water, then place it into a clean pot filled up with warmer water and bring it to boil, then add some loose tea into the water and boil for about 20-30 minutes. Then wait till the water gets cool and take the teapot out and let it dry naturally before rinsing. Or you can simply just add 2 tbsp vinegar into water and bring it to boil for about 20 minutes, let it dry naturally before rinsing.
