The materials used for the mats is called Gambiered Canton Silk, it is a traditional fabric with a completely organic and natural manufacturing process. It is only manufactured in the Shunde District (Shuntak), of the city of FoShan, in the Guangdong province. The process of manufacturing Gambiered silk is identified as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.
This small table placemat is well made with Gambiered Canton Silk, good to place your Kungfu tea wares. There are 2 sizes available, the bigger size is good for your kungfu tea ceremony, while the smaller size is good to place your teapot.
I bought the mats with the tiny flowers.
The quality is great . I think they are lovely.
They are well pictured although being silk it looks a bit different in different lights & so becomes very dark & subdued if it has little light on it, just be prepared for that if you order this design.

I like the mat a lot however Its a little more subdued as far as the color goes then the picture indicates.
